IG Operation and Maintenance S.p.A. is a highly experienced engineering company with over forty years of expertise in the construction, management, and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines, industrial and pharmaceutical plants, and complete technical maintenance of aircraft for public, military, and private clients both in Italy and abroad. The company also operates in turnkey EPC contracts within Oil & Gas and Energy production sectors. The website needed to reflect this rich heritage and wide-ranging capabilities through a clear, professional, and bilingual corporate presence.

Description

I was responsible for organizing the website’s content architecture to clearly convey the company’s complex and diverse service portfolio. I designed the UX/UI and developed an interactive prototype to validate navigation flows and user engagement for both Italian and English audiences. The website was developed using a fully custom WordPress implementation for both frontend and backend to meet the client’s requirements for flexibility and performance, including multilingual support. The site emphasizes clarity, professionalism, and ease of use, helping IG O&M communicate its mission, values, and technical expertise effectively.

Problem

The client needed a corporate website that could effectively communicate a broad range of highly technical services and decades of experience in multiple sectors, while also ensuring easy navigation for diverse audiences including public, military, and private sector stakeholders.

I developed a tailored WordPress website featuring a well-structured content hierarchy and intuitive navigation to handle detailed service descriptions and corporate information. The bilingual setup ensured content accessibility for both Italian and international users.
